Clay
We used clay to make Christmas tree decorations. Kathy made templates that we could choose from. Kathy also rolled out the clay ready for us to cut. After we had cut out the shape we wanted we took away the extra clay. Next we dampened our finger and smoothed the edges of the clay shapes. Now we decorated them with patterns. Now left them to dry for a week. When a week was up we painted the clay. Now Kathy will fire them in her kiln at a heat of 1020 Celsius. When they cooled down Kathy glazed them. A glaze is a shiny coat to put on top.
The finished clay creations look amazing.
