Our theme this term is TIKANGA.
A big part of our classroom culture is focusing on working together as a team.
We each had one quarter of a circle. We decorated these and wrote our names, and created wholes.
We also found out that 4/4 = 1 whole, 2/4 = 1/2, 5/4 = 1 1/4, 6/4 = 1 2/4 or 1 1/2.
Before we made the whole circles, Ashley v asked how many children were in the class.
“26,” I said.
He and Ryan W worked out how many wholes and parts it would make.
Well done, boys!
You’re a cool teacher Ms Bishop
