This years council were selected over the first few weeks of term one. This allowed the children to shine and impress the teachers with their leadership qualities including initiative, compassion and collaboration.

Morgan, Matai and Creedence were the first to be chosen and held the fort until the rest of the team were selected.

The team of councillors partner Whaea Danielle in the everyday running of school events such as notices and assemblies. They each have a whãnau class that they spend time in and help the younger children in a variety of learning situations as well as become hosts if visitors arrive.

They are great bunch of children who have earned the respect of their peers and teachers alike.
