Our school is divided into four houses

Kahurangi, Kakariki, Kowhai and Whero    We compete against each other when ever we can. We have a weekly trophy that is awarded to the winning house and presented at each week’s assembly. Each class member earns house points throughout the week and the whole school total is added together to find the winner. We also compete against each other in swimming, athletics and cross country.

Our house leaders are proud sportspeople who have earned the responsibility by being exceptional team members and players. They have an important role to play by organising games during lunchtimes for other children to participate in as well as encouraging their house in all ways possible – from being highly competitive themselves or creating chants and banners, or encouraging others to participate.
