Dargaville Primary School has its very own band.

... ably conducted by Mrs Mitchell.

We currently have about 25 students in our school band. Most of these children began playing at the beginning of this year.

 They play flutes, clarinets, trumpets, keyboards guitars and drums. Ms Bishop helps out by playing the saxophone. 

We would love some more sax players, as well as a trombone player  - or two. 

Band practice is held every Tuesday at 12.00. 

Free tuition is held at the High School for concert band instruments. 

Practice is important.

If your child plays in band, please encourage them to practise every day.
