Dargaville Primary School Band.

The first day for band is Monday 14th February. Our new conductor is Mrs Dale Nelson.

Last year we had about 25 students in our school band. Most of these children began playing at the beginning of the year. We have about 9 'seasoned' players ready to support new members.

So come along and have a go.

We play flutes, clarinets, trumpets, keyboards and drums - we have just acquired a full set of drums. Ms Bishop helps out by playing the saxophone. 

Band practice is held every Monday at 1.30. 

Free tuition is held at the High School for concert band instruments. 

Practice is important.

If your child plays in band, please encourage them to practise every day.
